How to Navigate the Distinction Dashboard and Its Features

Navigating the Dashboard

In this article, you’ll learn how the components of the Distinction Dashboard work and how to use them to get the best learning experience.



Top Left Corner: The menu bar helps you navigate across different pages of the Distinction platform.
                   
Top Right Corner: Access options like your Profile, Subscriptions, and Log Out.

Points

On your dashboard, you can view the points you’ve earned. Clicking on your points opens the Points Page, where you’ll see:

  1. Your current total points.
  2. Your rank level (e.g., Starter).
  3. Your 7 Days Streak, which rewards you for answering 5 questions correctly each day.
  4. A View Leaderboard button to compare your points with other learners.
                
You can also explore the Earn More Points section to continue building your score while studying.


Start Practice

This button allows you to take quizzes based on the course and curriculum you select.

Flashcards

This section lets you create and study flashcards for any course and difficulty level. Test your knowledge by trying to answer questions before flipping the card to reveal the answer.

Study Pal

By clicking Study Pal, you can interact with Distinction’s AI Tutor.

  1. Ask tough questions.
  2. Get concepts broken down for better understanding.
  3. Study by selecting your course and curriculum.

Quizathon

In this section, you can view both active and past Quizathon competitions, participate in ongoing ones, check your ranking and scores and see how your institution is performing.

Overall Performance Insight

Scroll down you'll see a summary of your practice activities. This includes your practice summary, showing total questions attempted and performance trends, as well as your recent activity, which highlights your most recent practice session. These insights help you monitor progress at a glance and track areas where you can improve.
