Editing Course Titles, Modules and Topics

This section provides a step-by-step guide on how to edit course content effectively within the Distinction.app course management system.
Key Steps

1. Accessing the Course - Click here to watch the video


  • Log in to your account.
  • Navigate to the course you wish to edit.
  • Click on the three dots to open the action menu

2. Editing Course Title - Click here to watch the video



  • Click on 'Edit' to open the course content.
  • Change the course title as needed (e.g., from 'Marketing Fundamentals' to 'Introduction to Marketing').
  • Click 'Save' to apply changes

3. Editing Course Description - Click here to watch the video


  • Locate the description section.
  • Edit the description text (e.g., 'Welcome to Introduction to Marketing').
  • Use copy and paste if necessary.
  • Click 'Save' to apply changes.

4. Editing Learning Objectives - Click here to watch the video



  • Click on the learning objectives section.
  • Remove any objectives you do not want.
  • Edit existing objectives as needed (e.g., change 'customers' to 'markets').
  • Click 'Save' to apply changes.

  • Click 'Edit Title' to change the module title if desired.
  • Edit lesson titles as needed

7. Deleting Sections or Modules -Click here to watch the video



  • To delete a section, select it and confirm the deletion prompt.
  • To delete an entire module, select it and confirm the deletion prompt.

  • To add content to a module, click 'Add Lesson'.
  • Provide the title, description, and type of lesson (article, video, flashcard, etc.)
