Editing Course Content SOP

This section provides a guide for creators and lecturers on how to efficiently edit course content on Distinction.app. It covers updating articles, videos, flashcards, and quizzes, using AI prompts to improve content quality, adding images, and ensuring all materials are accurate and engaging for learners.

Key Steps

1. Accessing Module and Lesson - Click here to watch the video


  • Navigate to the first module titled 'Discovering Marketing'.
  • Click on the module to expand and view all lessons.
 
  • Click on 'Edit Item' for the lesson 'Introduction to Marketing Fundamentals'.
  • A sidebar will appear with the article title and body.
  • Edit the title and body as needed.
  • You can add links, equations, pictures, tables, numbers, and bullets.
 
3. Using Prompts to Regenerate Content - Click here to watch the video


  • Click on 'Add Prompt' to open a text box for input.
  • Type your prompt and click 'Regenerate'.
  • Compare the new article with the old version to decide which to keep.
 
4. Adding Images to the Article - Click here to watch the video


  • Click on 'Generate Image' to create an image based on your description.
  • Resize and move the image within the article as needed.
 
5. Saving Changes to the Article - Click here to watch the video


  • Once all edits are complete, click 'Submit' to save the article.
 
6. Editing Video Content - Click here to watch the video

  • Click 'Edit' next to the video section to view the current video URL.
  • To change the URL, click 'Change URL', paste the new URL, and click 'Use Link'.
  • To upload a new video, click 'Upload', choose the file from your system, and upload it.

  • Double-check the content for accuracy after regeneration.
