How to Set and Manage Pricing for Your Course on Distinction

This guide explains how to change a course from free to paid and set its price across multiple currencies so you can start earning from your content.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Generated Courses

From your dashboard, go to Courses and select My Generated Courses.

Step 2: Open Course Settings

You can access the course settings in one of two ways:

Click the action menu on the course card and select Settings, or

Open the course landing page and click Settings from there

Step 3: Change the Course from Free to Paid

In the Settings page, change the course access from Free to Paid. This will display the pricing fields for your course.

Step 4: Set Your Price in Multiple Currencies

Enter the price you want learners to pay for your course. Distinction supports multiple currencies, including:

• Nigerian Naira (₦)
• US Dollar ($)
• British Pound (£)

When you enter a price in Naira, Distinction automatically suggests an equivalent price in Dollars. You can keep the suggested value or set different prices for each supported currency.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

Once you are satisfied with your pricing, click Save Changes.

After saving, the course landing page will display a Pay Now button instead of a free enrol option. This confirms that learners must complete payment before gaining access to the course.

You can update your course pricing at any time from the Settings page.

Setting prices in multiple currencies helps make your course accessible to learners in different regions.

Review your pricing before publishing to ensure it aligns with your target audience.
