How to Generate Lesson Videos with AI on Distinction
This guide explains how to generate AI-powered lesson videos for your course content on Distinction.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Generated Courses
From your dashboard, go to Courses and select My Generated Courses.
Step 2: Open the Course
Select the course you want to edit, then click Edit
Step 3: Open the Lesson Video
Expand the appropriate module and lesson, then open the video lesson item you want to update.
Click Edit Item.
Step 4: Generate a Video with AI
Select Generate with AI.
Distinction will use the lesson article as the foundation for generating a video.
Step 5: Configure the Video
Customize the video by providing the required details, including:
- Additional instructions (optional)
- Voice accent
- Voice type (Male or Female)
- Video duration
Click Start Generation to begin creating the video.
Step 6: Wait for Generation to Complete
The AI will generate a lesson video that includes narration and supporting visuals.
Generation may take a few minutes depending on the selected duration.
Step 7: Review the Generated Video
Once the video is ready, preview it to ensure it matches your lesson objectives.
If necessary, regenerate the video with different instructions or settings.
